Months ago we got a new tree from the front yard to replace the maple that had to come down before it came down by itself, probably on the house. Poor new tree was in less than 24 hours and came down; it had not been staked. The root ball did not come up, the tree broke free of the roots right at the base of the trunk. No problem, the guarantee stated it would be replaced.
Waited and waited; tree people did not want to replace in the middle of hot summer. OK. Waited and waited more. Got a call this morning and truck with a new tree was out front. Dead tree out, new one in and well staked. YEAH!

And in 20 years you will be saying dang leaves I have to rake.
However on the plus side they sure to give a lot of shade. The one in my front yard is about 50 years old.
Don't have a picture of it directly from the street, but you can see it from that earlier picture from this spring of my deck work Hemi and I were doing. That the big maple in my front yard towering over the house on the right, a smaller maple on the left.
