    The other side of karma.

    Took in the car because of a sound. Mechanic calls and says, "It's your alternator." And I'm thinking, didn't we just replace that?! Then he says, "Good news. Your warranty runs out in two days."

    That never happens. Seriously. Isn't it always the other way around?

    It was literally only a week or two after warranty was up when my parents hot water heater went out.

    It sure IS the other way around with electric kettles. A thing I haven't had for a couple of decades after getting so fed up with them dying a month after the warranty ended. Your alternator must have slipped by the manufacturer. LOL, lucky you.
