I have a local place that makes a decent pizza, plus I make my own. I make a regular style crust and a whole wheat crust, depends on my mood at to which one I make. All the chain pizza's suck.

Mom and pop. My husband knew this place from his childhood. The sauce is phenomenal. I have since used coupons and Groupons to try everyone else in reasonable driving distance. Nothing compares.

We like more of a thin crust pizza so if we're too lazy to go out, it's Domino's with a side of honey BBQ wings. On the occasion I want deep dish, Uno's is the place to go. I believe Chicago is known more for it's deep dish type pizza.

What's fun for the grans is to get individual pizza crusts, put on some sauce, and let them pick out their own toppings. That and a salad, YUM!

We tend to get pizza from the place one of our friends manages. He has been making pizza for decades and it is delicious. I will only eat big chain type pizza if it is a free food at work deal...

Here too! We also have a Mackenzie River Pizza here in MT... I actually just went there for my birthday last month. They have a pizza they call the "Sequoia" which I eat a small one and a side ceasar salad with it. It has pesto for the sauce, artichoke hearts, pine nuts, cheese and sundried tomatoes. It's amazing.. but $12 for a small which is only 4 pieces of pizza but delicious! So we usually just go to Papa Murphy's they have all kinds of pizza.... and I love their cheesy bread! We just had Papa Murphy's Friday night actually lol. I only eat 2 slices of that at a time because their pizza slices are enormous lol. I personally like their chicken pizzas. But the cowboy pizza we had Friday night was pretty good.

My favorite thing to go with pizza is salad. Always. But bread sticks are good too.

I spend a lot of time living / working in Italy, so don't hate me, but (1) I generally don't eat pizza outside of Italy unless we make it and (2) I don't eat pizza in Italy north of Rome, and (3) even in Rome, most of the pizza is so-so.

I have never developed a taste for American pizza. Over there, I eat it several times a week.

And what is ridiculous is that much south of Naples, pizza is so-so. Pizza in Sicily is horrible. It's a very narrow cuisine over there.

I'm kind of hooked on Farm to Table small plate style Flatbread right now. So good. Or maybe it's the wine and craft beverages. Chain pizza is too salty for me. I feel like garbage after I eat it.

However, I do not really like the chain pizza places (Dominoes, Pizza Hut, etc.) with exception of Papa Murphy's. I'll eat it, but I wouldn't purchase it. Kinda how I feel about pizza in general...
I love all the Newman's Own products. Their organic coffee is all I use and they used to make a chili mix that was so good, but it was discontinued. All profits are donated and all products are harvested sustainably. They also pay their coffee growers livable wages. I haven't seen the pizza, but will look for it.

But take out pizza, Marco's all the way.
