I'm glad your recovery is going well minus the meds!
I hope the anti-nausea will help you tons. Sending hugs, prayers, and mojo!
I've been looking for you on FB, but if you posted anything I missed it. So I decided to come here and see if there was any news. I so glad that you are able to eat now, that will help keep you stronger. You are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I hope the rest of the recovery process goes smoothly and quickly for you. Miia, Honey and Paige send you tons of loving doggy kisses.
PT really put me through the paces on Thursday. Really like the therapist but she won't let me get away with not really working it. Started on single steps, up and back, along with stretching out and mobilizing the specific muscles that were most involved in surgery. YIKES! As hard as it is, I always walk out more limber than when I walked in.
Today is going to be in the 50's, sun's out, going to poke around the back yard I'm sure with the furkids in tow. Waiting until it warms up a little more.
Thanks again for all the good wishes.

So glad you are doing better, those pain meds are crucial to recovery based on what I watched DH go through in the beginning. He tolerated it from a GI perspective but the constipation was nasty, lots of Colace! They were very helpful in the beginning but he was grateful to be rid of them. Fast forward to today Fran, and he and I recently ran for office and knocked on over 2000 doors, I watched him climb up a berm at a voter's home and I couldn't believe it was the same guy. His was done in July. It truly is a miraculous surgery and keeps us 'oldsters' moving! Best wishes on a continued rapid recovery.
Thank you for reminding me to keep my eyes focused forward. At times I get so frustrated and I'm not a sit all day, quiet person and not being able to get up and do weights heavy.
No pain meds other than Tylenol all day today and doing fairly well. I'm still very wary of losing footing and falling. So want to be able to drive again and get out. Have to laugh, the biggest problem there is getting in and out of the SUV. I can use a step stool but then how in the heck do I get it in the car after I'm in, LOL. Ah, it will come.
