    Getting sick at my age.

I have had a bad cold for the last few days and am getting over it now but I realized that getting sick is different now at my age. Here are the top five reasons I hate getting sick now.

    1. I have developed sinus infections which makes my Cherry Coke taste bad.
    2. I can't tell the difference between a fever and a hot flash.
    3. I know I'm not getting anything done but I don't care anymore.
    4. Boring. Just lying there is beyond boring.
    5. I sound like a frog and can't do anything about it.

What do you hate about getting sick?

    1. Not sleeping.
    2. Coughing till your ribs are sore.
    3. Having to drag into to work even when you don't feel like it.
    4. Sore, red nose.
    5. Sleeping in the bathroom if you are unlucky enough to get the flu.

    Hang in there.

Mostly having to walk the dogs for their long, twice daily walks when I feel like someone should bury me. (Unless I am lucky enough to get sick on a day someone else is home. For some reason that rarely happens!)

When I worked it was having to drag myself out of bed, drive an hour each way and go in to my office whether I wanted to or not.
