That would be the worst part for me, the nausea. Can't stand it. You're making great progress especially given that!

BREAKTHROUGH! So many were telling me that 2 weeks after surgery I would feel much better. Ah, no. The last couple of days much less discomfort, much easier movement. Went to PT and walked in without my cane. I am still supposed to use it in places where other people are around; kinda gives them a visual clue to be careful. Well, PT took it as an awesome reason to really push forward. Ahhhhh! Now I'm doing stairs and am cleared for stairs at home, slowly, one at a time if needed. Great, now I can throw the dirty clothes down the stairs, go down and get them in the washer and dryer. DH is still going to have to carry them up. PT even had me on a tilt board balancing. Hey, doesn't just my age preclude such foolishness? Apparently not.

PT told me that at about weeks 6-8, when bone healed, was when the real difference would be realized. Seems to be going that way. One more check up with the ortho at 6 weeks and PT visits through mid December. Ortho clearance still needed to be able to drive. Expecting maybe 7 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow so no way do I even want to start driving in that crap.

Going to be a busy afternoon. DH will get the snow blower out and odds and ends put in the garden shed.

    Life is looking up.
