    One Month Ago

I became a bionic woman. Haven't figured out my super power yet, LOL.

Celebrated with a real shower, the stand up kind, not on the shower seat. What a luxury! Besides the fact that there are some very important body parts that are difficult to wash sitting down.

DH went to take the shower seat out and of course the dogs had to pile in to check everything out. Yep, we all piled into the bathroom. DH hovered in case I needed anything, Mardi held down the bathmat and Archie kept poking his head in to see what I was doing.

I didn't say it was a private shower, but boy did it feel good. Life's little pleasures, ah.

And now you're a bionic woman who feels human again, after that shower.

Oh the things we take for granted until they are no longer there.

So glad for the progress and relief you have made. You have heard it said that it takes a village to make a child, in your case it takes a family to take a shower.

a real, honest, adult shower?! yay! and of course you've got company, your DH has been an absolute gem during all this, and Mardi and Archie, well, why on earth would you take a shower without a dog or 2 (or more) in the bathroom?!

Well, I spoke too soon. The next morning nausea and vomiting took over. What a bummer way to start the day. Wish I could get that straightened out.

Today is rainy and windy. I so wanted to go with DH just to the grocery store, just to get OUT but had a restless night and feel like crap.

i"m sorry Fran! even the anti-nausea pill not working?
recovery would be a lot easier to get thru if you weren't feeling like you're going to vomit any second!
