Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
It's been a crazy year here and not always easy. GS going off to Army basic training, the first to leave the nest. DD's divorce and all its ups and downs and continuing problems. Becoming a bionic woman with a new hip. With all these events happening it's all too easy to forget the awesome times we've had and the fabulous family and friends who surround us.
This year will be a very quiet Thanksgiving. No big brunch, all the little grans in GA seeing GS's turning blue ceremony, DH having to work, DD having to go to work this afternoon. It would be easy to be down. Instead I choose to be so very thankful that they are all in my life and that we may not be celebrating together today, we have so many more days to celebrate together.
I am also thankful for the fabulous family we have here, skin and fur. May your day, however it is spent, be filled with joy and love.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Fran I think you've done a great job putting everything into perspective. Thanksgiving isn't just a day to over stuff our faces with food (which I am doing!) and shopping til we drop (which I'm NOT doing!), it's a time to reflect on all the good things in our lives, and be happy for all the blessings we've received. Sometimes it is all to ease to dwell on the bad things, the negatives, that we forget all the positives.
Regardless of what you are doing today, take some time to reflect on those good and positive things.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
