Congrats. Good timing, now a little Christmas shopping during the off hours might do wonders for your healing. Be careful of the crowds.

Drove myself to PT yesterday. Geez, she pushed me which good but boy do I feel it today. Have to keep moving and stretching today to work it out. Sweet DH came out, in the rain, when I got home to make sure I could get out of the car and inside.

PT did my "report card". This included measurement of angles and how I felt about certain activities. While I am making, in her words, excellent progress, I've got 6 more sessions to go. After that, if she feels I need more, more will be scheduled. Because of the hip replacement "bundle" that Medicare has set up, all of the PT is covered at 100% - YEAH!

I'm supposed to get out and walk more but it's be day after day of rain, especially mushy in the back yard. Walking back there would be great for balance challenges. One of my goals is to be able to walk the dogs; still not there yet. Also, still have not attempted to wear jeans because of where the incision is. Got to suck it up and do that.

No sucking up please Jeans are really rough on the skin. I no longer wear them due to sensitivty issues. When the time is right and you will know when that is throw on a pair of Jeans. I was wondering if you are using cow utter cream or vitamin E oil to soften the scar and make it less visible in the long run?
