    Success!

First time out driving - FREEDOM!!! Not a problem at all driving. Hardest part is getting in and out of the car, just have to take my time. Ortho had filled out all the paperwork for a temporary handicap placard so no long hikes in parking lots.

Went to the bank and the post office. Also went to Home Depot.

Huge sale on amaryllis bulb kits (bulb, pot and soil), 2 for $10. If you ever wanted to try them, now's the time. Super price as in the past I've spent up to $10 a bulb. Of course they are not the super fancy ones, they can go for $40-$70 a bulb. After the holidays, when all the decorations are taken down, the house seems to plain. That's when I start them and in short order they are blooming, cheering me up and letting me know spring can't be that far away.

Have more shopping to do and older GD is going to go with me helping me carry stuff. Think I'll try one store a day, good exercise but not overdoing it.

Yay! Now don't you go popping wheelies, yours or the car.

Who-hoo! Nothing better than being released to drive after surgery and feeling that freedom of not depending on others to take you places.
