Cool. I'm sure there will be some not so good days, but you will do fine. Get plenty of rest.

I hope you're feeling better Nancy, things certainly have changed in the past 20 years...locating chips and fiber optic guides to what areas the surgeon is to operate on. He is certain he got everything, nothing in the lymph nodes. I've learned a few tricks, Frozen bags of peas are great ice packs and they contour to the breast! Vicodin makes my giddy so I know I can't keep taking that! The gave me a pretty floral boostiay, it's lined with stretchy cotton and velco in the front. Oh and sports bras are much more comfortable than regular bras. I hope you feel better soon, maybe we can come up with some newer equipment ideas for these doctors to use that are more female friendly...honestly, I could never see a man but his breast in a mamogram machine and get it flattened like a pancake. After all these years there has to be an alternative that those guys are hiding in a vault somewhere!! Feel better soon Nancy, be strong, you'll do just great.

I'm glad things went well for you and you're feeling good right now! I'm trying to remain calm. In a couple hours I have a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound on my left breast. My doctor says she doesn't think it's anything to worry about but by just ordering further tests, it makes it something to worry about...
