Thank you for the update. Sorry it wasn't all that smooth this time, but we were trying really hard Good to hear that the IV fluids helped and you're feeling better. So September 23 it is - it's already marked in our calendar and don't worry, we'll be there again. Take care of yourself, try to take it easy, no unnecessary stress and a lot of fun time with your K9 therapists - they're the best. M&M

Last night I got a call from the vet office reminding me of my appointment today. The voice on the other side was a friend I had worked with at a human hospital for about 10 years. I ran into her at the vet a year or two ago and it was nice to be able to keep in touch that way. Then early this year, every time I took a various animal to the vet I never saw her. I assumed that maybe they'd let her go. I had no way of getting in touch with her and I didn't ask anyone where she was. So it was a big surprise that she called me. So I asked what had happened. Turned out she had to take a leave of absence because she got breast cancer, had a mastectomy and all the chemo and was so sick she couldn't work. She said she lost all her hair in January or February. Ended chemo in May or June and is back to work and feels great! Her hair is back--very short and curly! She's not sure the curls will stay. She says her only continuing symptom is neuropathy in her hands and feet although the pain in her hands is already half of what it was and the doctor said that her feet should clear up within a year. She is happy and healthy. I hope your is a happy and healthy ending as well, Nancy.

Sorry to learn this one was a little rougher. What kind of IV was delivered?

September 23, noted. That's five days after my dog walk with Achilles so no problem.

I hug you. We all hug you.

It was just saline solution and anti nausea meds.
