If for nothing else the Lightsaber fight in Episode I between Qui-gon and Obi Wan vs. Darth Maul was worth watching it!!

I saw the first one at the theater, a couple of others on TV. I'm not a huge fan of movies of any kind but will watch this when it comes on TV. The OH would like it, I think.

But in the meantime, has anyone seen the fabulous weather report out of Scotland the night the movie opened? It's a gem, she's great.

Thought it was great. When you watch back the original three, the downside is that is kind of cheezy. The next three were much better in regards to that but very depressing with Anakin going dark and all. This combined the best of both. Great filming, not cheezy at all but with a storyline AND much needed humor!

Yeah I Seen it. I am on vacation so sure thing. I went and seen it 3d, DBOX (Where the seat move and tilt and vibrate), and they serve booze. I go to theaters maybe 2 times a year so I splurge for good movies. Now besides my experience, Good movie. It really continues the original story line. It is not over done with special effects like transformers and no story. The story is there, and it is good. Is it the best movie I seen, no, but does it really blend in to the first 3, yes it is a very good and appropriate continuation of the story.

Loved the original three, (really loved Harrison Ford lol) but couldn't stand the next three where it seemed to have turned into a children's series, so I'm thrilled to think it is going to be more like the first three - will have to wait for it to be on the TV sadly though. Just rewatched the Raiders of the Lost Ark films, they still hold up well too - well apart from Temple of Doom where the screaming woman gets seriously on my nerves!
