DH works at Home Depot now, so I'm glad to hear so many shop there (maybe they'll stay in business...).

As for me, around cooking, laundry, paperwork, & all the usual chores, I'll be watching the Belmont Stakes, rootin' for California Chrome!

Hopes & prayers for all the horses & jockeys to stay safe!

Trying to fix my pocket closet door, which came off the track. . . why does everyone have to be in the same space as me when I do it?!

How do you make wooden whistles? I might be better at that than fixing a door. . . !!

Dog show! And just finished an after-show bbq with a few of the ladies I compete with. Dreading tomorrow, after the show, packing up going back home, unpacking then the lawn... Ah well that's tomorrow.

Hope you got your door fixed.
I need to make whistles for the preschoolers at VBS to decorate and I found this link. I'm changing it up a bit though and using half inch plastic pipe instead of drilling out a larger wooden dowel stick. They are turning out good and work really well.

We accomplished this and more. Mowed the lawn and did a couple loads of laundry, hung on our no-longer-sagging clothes line. It has lightly rained this morning and today is productive in a different way. Reading, tagging and sorting photos, doing budget stuff, I'm listening to George Winston. Going to Dyson later. The rain will stop after lunch so we'll get out in the yard and I think there's a plan for my to grill something for dinner.

We haven't heard from Woody. Wonder how the fence project goes . . .

No, I couldn't manage the door. It's actually a bifold door and I guess I'm not strong enough to lift it up and in or tall enough, even on a stool. Of course, it didn't help that Polly decided to get on the stool with me - remembering her trick of standing on a bowl and twirling around!!

I like the video! Will you share your photos of them, please? I bet the preschoolers will be so happy with them!

So how did the fence mending go? Didn't hear any yelling and cursing, so hoping all went really well for you.
