My husband has been working in another state for a month so when he comes home we treat ourselves to a really good restaurant.

They put an oyster appetizer on the menu. I had it as a special last month and loved it but it's expensive so I decided to make it my meal with a cup of soup and a small salad.

The booth behind my husband couldn't be seated. People kept leaving. Eventually someone came around and tried to shift the seats but we were in the middle. There was some talk about the cleaning crew moving the booths and the booth behind my husband being too small to be seated.

The manager came around and tried to figure it out. I asked him if he wanted us to get up so that he could shift the seating. Yes, he said and was very grateful. We got up and he said that he would comp our appetizers.

Thirty seconds. Twenty-one bucks. My oysters and my soup.

My treat for the week.
