Saw the mouse also on the IR. I was stunned that a mouse would go that high up in a tree.

Yeah, finally PA eagle in the nest munching on a meal. Decorah nest empty and looks to have been snowed on. Berry College eagle is definitely looking like he/she is sitting on egg/s.

Berry Eagles update: a confirmed pip was captured in a pic this morning. So egg #1 is beginning its hatch! Egg #2 should pip in about 3-4 days. Very exciting!

EAGLET!!!! Berry has a new eaglet and the second egg has a pip (air hole) which means its hatch is beginning. Here is a screenshot from a few moment ago. You can see the little fuzzy eaglet and also the dark pip near the top of the remaining egg.

This is cool, just watched them switch who was keeping the egg/chick warm. The first one flew away, I guess to find some food.

The Hanover nest looks like they have begun to create the nest cup which will hold the eggs. I thought I saw the beginnings of one a few days ago but the darned snow keeps making an appearance.

Thank you, smartrock, for starting this thread and for the links to the Hanover nest. I am looking forward to following the nest there.

Must have just missed the second chick hatching, I turned it on and one of the parents was setting the broken egg shell aside, you can see it just to the right of the fish heads, bummer.
