    That sounds pretty bad, I am sorry you have had such a negative experience. I would definitely be looking for a new employer, one that at the very least shows some respect. You worked too long and too hard to be so unhappy, that just sucks.

    So sorry this is happening. Not knowing, rumors flying around, it's no way to run a business.

    Somewhat the same when I was laid off. Beginning of the year we were asked to list what hours on holidays we could work; I submitted mine right away. Odd how it never showed up on the extended schedule and I asked the boss and fot lame excuses. My boss has been planning far ahead and knew she had to cut X number of positions and the clues were there. I was just hoping to stay till the end of the year but it did not happen.

    Start getting the feelers out for a new job.
