    We have actually eaten chicken every night since we got them. I don't know if it's subconscious or what.

    Just like being in the nest except you don't have to wait for dinner to be served.

    I really wonder if one staked out the water bowl.

    With chicks, everything gets changed out four times a day. Most of the time, they just poop directly into the dish. This is why I hate those feeder / waterer things, especially the plastic ones. They are horrible to clean. Glass though is super easy.

    I worry about that kind of thing so I keep the water bowls small for a while so they can get out without a problem.
