i think the time has come

supposed to have hardware removed tomorrow. don't know time till after noon today, when i call ambulatory unit. scared to death.

and to top it off, now wheezing. i think i , for the first time, have emotional asthma. usually just get it when i get a cold. swell. i do want to be out, tho not general. please, no local unless I'm out for it first.

ok, god only knows when i'll be back tho I'm told the surgery is not a big deal. i also was told i would walk out, no boot. just walk out.
    ok, folks, wish me luck.
I'm now in my 15th month of this. i still will have pain, says dr ding, and i am pretty sure, it's because of the arthritis but it has to feel better without all this metal. the only skinny thing on me are my ankles and the plates are really really not too comfy. can barely touch them, let alone have a sneaker edge or shoe go near them. please let dr ding do his magic.

ok, will let you know the deal. supposedly a couple of weeks of pain, then back to dr and back to PT> my pt, who i love and considers me a VIP (probably because i missed one day in this whole time, 6 days a week), is a tuff love kinda guy. i told him how nervous i was. a got a hug, tight, kiss and then he bent down and kissed my ankle.
now how do you not love a guy like that?. i better remember it when the first time he moves my metal-less ankle around. first time i screamed and cried so loud i nearly cleared out the entire place. ok, different now. i can just cry quietly i guess.

Oh Betty, I do so hope this will be the beginning of the end to this painful saga in your life. Whatever sedation they give you, make certain the anesthesiologist knows of your recent asthma issues. Just sending the very best thoughts your way.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

If good wishes can make it so you will be fine, a star, the most successful removal of hardware they've ever had.

So hope that removal of the metal eases the pain you have been having. Many prayers being said and sent along with hugs.

Will be looking for an update when you are able.

Hope this does the trick...you've been dealing with one bit of nonsense or another for way to long a period of time.

All good thoughts go with you...
