    exciting news

My husband and I have decided to add a new addition to our family only it's the human kind I'm full of all kinds of emotions scared and excited. I'm also nervous be I waited until I was older I'm 35 and this will be our first so I'm scared now that I'm considered high risk. Fingers crossed I get pregnant quick!!

Congrats ! Its normal to have all those feelings !
35 isnt really that old anymore for your first kid,
especially if you are in decent physical shape.
My SIL had her first at 40 and everything was fine !

Good luck! I'm going on 35 and we are just starting to talk about adding non-fur kids. Best wishes! I know what you mean, it's exciting and terrifying and a million other things all at the same time.

Thanks. Im glad the feelings are normal and it's not just me. We've been talking about kids for a while but we lived with his parents in the basement and the time just wasn't right. We finally bought a 3 bedroom ranch almost 3 years ago and just wanted to spend the time just us for a while.

Congrats on your decision to have kids! I was older when I finally decided to have kids. I was 37 and 42 when they were born. Being an "older mom" is great.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Congratulations. With today's medical care, you'll be just fine. DD was considered higher risk during her last pregnancy because of age and she did beautifully.
