We were there in December, were those pools on the Road to Hana? We really loved it too!

Yes. We stopped at a couple spots. Most of the normal waterfalls were pretty dry as they've had a very dry winter due to El Nino.

We'll be there in November. Woo Hoo.

We booked the Hana through these guys:Rates and Tours - Maui Easy Riders and did the Private Tour of the Road to Hana. I really liked it as it wasn't the normal pile into a bus and get the same tour everyone else does. The put a guide in your car, and you get to see and do what you want to do. Our guide, Marty, was a really good guy, and I think he knew everyone along the road to Hana. We and our friends all had a great time on this tour.
