Oh, cool! How did you grow that, by putting the top of a pineapple into some soil?

How old is that plant, don't the normally take 3 years for a full grown pineapple? So guessing it is a year old or maybe a year and a half.

That is so cool, I need to try that. I am curious how long it takes to get a pineapple.

Nice. I tried that and mine just went all rotten and mouldy. You won't actually get a pineapple out of it, will you?

Been little over 20 years since I have been to pineapple farms. ;-) Keep good care of it because next year a fresh picked pineapple will be one of the most delicious things ever. I spent a small time in Hawaii, one of the things I miss still to this day is fresh picked pineapple. Even grocery store doesn't come close. Nice thing is you can plant the new one and start all over. 3 years later, fruit again.

That's whats growing there in the center. She should get one next year. It is well on it's way to fruition. Pun intended. Most problems with it are gone now. Hardest thing is getting started.

I tried once long ago but it did not take.

I agree with you Jeff. Never really liked pineapple until I went to Hawaii. It's totally different and so delicious.
