Nicely done Mike. A fitting tribute to an officer taken way too soon.
Beautiful.

Mike, your work is improving by leaps and bounds!

I am highly pleased to announce that this pastel painting was successfully bid on by Dr. Thomas Spignesi (Officer Spignesi's brother) who was elated with the piece. It did me heart a world of good to see Tom so happy with this artwork having been dedicated to his brother. Tom and I posed for a photo with the framed piece at the scholarship fundraiser on Saturday evening. I will post the photo once I have a copy emailed to me.
I had donated one other drawing of a vintage Common Goldeneye gunning decoy that was successfully bid on by a long time gunning companion of mine. Again, I was highly pleased to see that decoy go to John.
Cheers,

Very nice Mike, and I think it truly found a good home.
