Just wondered if any of these worked and what kind of cloth are you using to dry it?

I've also used baking soda mixed with water into paste. You can leave it a while, then rub in small circles, using a paper towel and gradually make bigger circles. I dry with a clean paper towel and microfibre cloth.

We have a white kitchen sink and this works well without scratching it.

I still have to buy a brillo pad or the magic eraser.

I was reheating takeout food that looked like it was in a paper container. As it turned out. there was a fine mesh of metal within the paper. I didn't know that when I put the food in there, set it for 2 minutes, and turned away. I am so glad that I didn't actually leave the kitchen, because when I turned around there were flames shooting up to the ceiling of the microwave. I opened the door, which ended up fueling the fire more. Duh. So I grabbed the container by the bottom and threw it in the sink and ran water on it. Not one of my finer kitchen moments, that is sure.

I am going to pick one up the next time I go to the store. That would be a good reason for a long walk tonight.

If the Mr Clean doesn't work, you might be able to replace the inside panel depending on the model. It might be inexpensive, it might not. You can google the model number off the info label and see what you can find. I use Mr Clean extra strength for a lot of stuff now. Not sure I'd use Brillo though.
