I see the jalapenos in the first photo. The others look like banana peppers, are they?
How are you doing with the rain barrel? It's been dry-ish down here and our two barrels haven't been full since mid-May.
Looking great! You're going to have more produce that you'll be able to eat. Better bone up on your canning skills.

Jalepenos and bannana peppers. You got it. We have had a few days of rain but I have been reading different things about rain barrel water for gardens. Bird droppings and ashpalt are concerns. We use the rain barrel for the flowers etc and the hose for the veges.
I plan on making som salsa and canning it. A friend of mine has been doing it for years so he going to help out. I guess through trial and error I will find out how much comes out of this.
We've been using water off our asphalt roof in the garden for several years with no apparent bad effects so far. When our shed's rebuilt this summer we'll roof it with metal and begin using water off it, mostly because the shed is right next to the garden.
I canned a batch of salsa last year. Pressure canning is a bit tedious; Faye has done canning and it was good to have her help. Look forward to hearing how yours turns out!
