Not me, LOL, I tend to embrace technology in it's fullest. Take the time to learn it and take advantage of it. I just got the Samsung Virtual Reality headset yesterday. I will never watch movies any other way.
I just traded in my '06 Honda Civic Hybrid (197k miles/317k km) + $$$ for a '12 Toyota Prius II (35k mi./56k km).
My Honda has been running fine, never needing repairs (except a change of batteries, ouch!) but I worried about its high mileage and the future. I researched Consumer Reports and decided to look at slightly used Prius's/Priuses??. I tried a '13 Prius III; I liked it but decided its controls were way too advanced for me -- WOW!! it seemed (to me) to almost like being at the controls of a starship for some future generation. But those on a '12 Prius II, while seeming far more advanced than on my Honda's, were considerably simpler and I think I'll have them fairly well learned within a week (with frequent consultation of its manual). Anyone else have similar reactions to a newer car?

I have a '11 Prius, and that generation of Prius' really do feel like a spaceship. The way the cab is set up makes it feel like that. Plus the display in the dash is so different than my '00 Honda Civic.

Know what you mean. We changed to a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the dang thing had the turn signal handle on the reverse side of the column than the previous. Plus, everything is on a touch control panel. I don't know how many times I wanted to increase/decrease the fan and turned the seat warmer on. Kept wondering why my butt was getting so hot, LOL.

Ahh-hhh! Thanks!!!
So others have had some of that, too......... But maybe it's not just the Prius -- or Toyota? Possibly other car manufacturers have also made big recent changes since '06 in the driver's controls, how they operate, touch screen stuff, and other things.
I'm right there with you. I just recently traded in my '05 Matrix for a 2013 Prius. I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks it's like a spaceship inside!
My 2013 Forester is very easy to use, not spaceship-y at all. My friend's 2015 Impreza wagon... certainly a spaceship!
Bring on the technology! I can't wait for self driving cars

In 2012 we bought an '09 Mazda3 Sport, that's the hatchback. It was, is, a one owner trade in to the dealer he bought it from. First car I've ever owned with electric windows and a remote lock/unlock/panic button. And it has a plug-in for an MP3 or iPod. High tech for me.
I'm a little slow on adopting new tech.
While I will probably pass on self driving cars here are two up-votes for the concept.
