    Not A Lab

    Aye Mates,
    A current work in progress and a deviation from me usual subject of Labs, t'is a pastel painting of a GSP doing what they do best. Soft pastels on Canson acid free pastel paper.

    On Point is a perfect name for this. The dog's on point, is a pointer and you really hit the point on this one. Excellent!

    Beauty! We had two Englsh Setters in my youth. Dad & I used to hunt quail. There is something so awesome about a dog doing what they were bred to do. This is a beautiful portrait of the point!
