I also followed Ada with her cancer diagnosis. She was one tough cookie as her FB group page showed. During it all she was still cracking jokes and thinking of others. The world has lost one hell of a lady and fighter. As some of you know I also went through breast cancer treatment. Ada handled the diagnosis far better than I. She truly amazed me. She was just incredible right up until the end. I will miss her. She would sometimes send me a message asking about treatments and I hoped I helped her in some way. Ada, may you forever rest in peace.

I am crushed. I had to deactivate my FB account about a month ago and was unable to stay in touch. Ada was a true gem. Courageous, funny, selfless and ultra brave in her battle. When she was active on this board, she could make you laugh simply by responding with the perfect emo. I know Sabrina at SOS Labrador Rescue provided great comfort to Ada by providing wonderful care for S&Em at a moment's notice. In Ada's memory, I plan to make a donation to that rescue. Rest in peace, dearest Ada. You touched the hearts of so many people.

This is very sad news. It's hard enough when a member loses their best furry friend but devastating when we lose a member. I recall her posts from before the board crash and always appreciated what she brought to the forum and our members. My thoughts are with her and her family.
