Is he deployed????
Looking for a good quality inflatable pillow to send to GS. Know a lot of you are outdoors people/campers so do you have any suggestions.
GS is doing well. Have already send 2 "care" packages. He's not one to ask for things so I've been going off of lists on line from people who have been deployed and those supporting them.
If you have any suggestions for things to send, please let me know.
With the USPS "if it fits, it ships" boxes, postage is fairly inexpensive and I can really stuff the boxes as weight does not matter. Also, since I ship a lot of rescue stuff through a local shipping store, he is giving me an additional discount.
Thanks

Ahh, ok. I must have missed it. Hope he is doing well and staying safe. I know from personal experience how much it means to get a package from home.
These are pretty good inflatable pillows. They pack down really well for hiking so I think they would fit your bill. Two sizes available.

Thanks to your GS for his service!
We used to send lots of individually wrapped snacks (nuts, Rice Krispie treats, gum, Cracker Jacks, etc...), cards, hand sanitizer, chap stick. Our cousin used to ask for things he could share or easily leave behind so other could use them (hence the cards).
Thanks for the suggestions.
First shipment of 2 boxes got there in 10 days, really good time. Send second 2 boxes today, honing in on what he wants in particular. Problem right now is the heat; so much can't go because of the melt factor. Most candies, mainly chocolate, are a no-no until season changes. Tons of snack bars, chips, flavored water additives (still searching for Gatorade singles), jerky, nuts. Another box filled with toiletries, powder, lotions, etc. Thanks for the ideal of hand sanitizer, did not think about that. If he cannot use anything I send, there is a community box to leave it in and anyone who wants it can take it.
Racking my brain for Christmas gifts. Have already gotten a tiny tree and battery operated lights. Finding mini ornaments are no problem. He knows my threat, if he does not tell me what he needs/wants, he gets underwear and socks, LOL.

You might send some of those Pedialyte water additives. My husband uses those a lot when it is really hot out. He seems to think those work better with the electrolytes than Gatorade does. They have boxes in multi-flavor, strawberry lemonade and orange. You can tell I buy those a lot, huh? Things like crossword puzzle books and word search books are always good, too.
