    Enough Is Enough

Two weeks ago, on a Tuesday, as the day progressed has a sore throat. Next day it was really raw, slight fevers, little chills. By the next day it was basically gone. Since then, chest congestion, coughing, sinus crap. Finally went to the doctor last Monday. I've got bronchitis. Antibiotics and cough syrup. Today I'm still having trouble catching my breath if I overdo. It's a pain cause there is so much I want to do in the garden and around the house. Doctor said it would take a while to resolve. I've had enough! Better go take some of that cough syrup with codeine in it so then I won't care.

    Sorry, just venting.

Being sick in the summer is somehow worse to me than winter. Rest and feel better soon.

I've got that too and I haven't had a cold in about 10 years. I started over a week ago and it's just not going away. I hope the cough syrup with codeine works for you, didn't for me. I even tried one of my migraine meds with 30 mg of codeine, doesn't do a thing. The OH has it too but he's a week ahead of me which means he's going on to week three.

Oh, yuck! I was hoping it would clear up sooner. Have been taking Mucinex which does help break up all the crap.

My sympathies. Hope it gets better soon. You could try my old standby remedy for just about everything -- gin and tonic with a squirt of lemon.

If i do catch something going around, it's usually a light dose but I'm hoping I skip this one altogether. Hope you feel better soon.
