Aye Mates,
A continuing photo series, "WRECLAMATION" documents the seasonal / monthly changes imposed by Mother Earth on this old farm truck. As I photographed this August installation, I was reminded of a python constricting and slowly swallowing a rat.
"WRECKLAMTION"
A play on words, Mother earth is reclaiming what is rightfully hers.
See the entire series of four photos taken May through August further below in this thread.
Cheers,

Fascinating. It will be interesting to see the photos lined up next to each other.

It is beautiful in it's own way, but sad at that same time that Mother nature has to clean up after us.

Mother Nature may not be the fastest but she will reclaim in a safe way. Wouldn't it be a shame if someone came along and ripped the truck out of her clutches and put it in a dump.

Top to bottom are "WRECKLAMATION" series photos spanning monthly shots taken from May through August. The perspective is more profound when observed consecutively side by side.

One can only wonder what this truck went through during it's active life time. Was it used on a farm, used to construct roads. And the people who drove it; young on a summer job or first job, working man supporting his family with an honest day's work, a grizzled old man using it on a farm, grandkids propped beside him or even in the back, spending a special day of a job well done.

Super neat photos. You can't fool Mother Nature, she will have it (and us) in the end.
Aye Mates,
The truck sits on an old dairy farm property that has been in the same family for generations. I know the family and pass by the farm daily on me dog training runs. I will stop by and chat with the owner and get some history on the truck. I will post me findings once I have them.
