Bernie pretty much put down anyone else's feedback (which came from the normal encylopedia of sources). Still waiting on Bernie to tell us why exactly. Because no, it's not normal.
    What is "normal" now-a-days?
    Don't get here often so.........
    Merry Christmas to all!

Old thread and i was ask if i thought she will run away and i wondering how will i know if i never tried.
so when we go to dog parks she goes off leash from my car to the entry double gates and from the car to inside the house now.
she given a chance has been real good. today i called her and said lets go to the car in the dog park while she was playing and surrounded by maybe 30-40 dogs and their owners. Alot of distraction She followed me into the leashing gates and into my car . the road was busy or else i would have done my usual off leash to the car. Weird that her recall has seemed to have improved. i think at 10 months she is maturing more mentally. also she is easier to teach tricks now and picks it up fast. Before everything was tough.

anyway, i am going to take her for a hike off leash next to the lake . Let me see. see seems content sniffing and staying around me now. i am waiting for a little bit more warmth for the lake.

An old thread but after all the feedback
I been working on letting her walk and jog with me .
    Started in enclosed dog park.
Moved into a big fenced in area.
Yesterday I took her in a wooden area in a 3 mile path. No fences .The path bordered house ,a baseball field and alot of water features. She has a ball.met a yellow lab that she played with and ran maybe 5 miles with as I walked 3 .She ran into a few joggers and other dogs but mostly did not take and off and followed me to the car.

No e collar nothing. Even though she chasing the birds in a field and running in the streams full speed caused me to freak out she was ok.

She was not perfect but we will do this more.

    No e collar btw.
