If your breeder has a take-back policy, you can give him back to the breeder, and adopt/buy a shelter dog or other dog that you'll like better.
Neighbor- see my new dog, I got her in the lost and found.
You- great, wait a minute, need to get a logging chain to hold my Lab back.
Neighbor- thought you got training for him.
You- sure did, 12 weeks driving back and forth every week.
Neighbor- where’s he going now?
You- oh, he’s just chasing that car down the road, it’s o.k., he needs mental stimulation.
Neighbor- but….won’t he come back when called?
You- nah, he’s too intelligent for that.
Neighbor- but, but………..
You- if you wait I’ll get some roast beef from the house and show you that he sits on command.

Is this for real or a joke? If you are looking for training tips, keep him on a short leash until he is actually trained.
