Probably I also should've said that learning for any animal (dogs, humans, horses, etc.) operates much differently when it's based on rewards for a correct response versus punishment for an incorrect or undesired response. The latter can very easily lead to establishing unwanted behaviors and outcomes which can be quite difficult to erase.

Okay, I think we can stop beating up Silverfz for their error with the E collar, I am pretty sure they understand now, and I am reasonably certain they they will seek help in the future if/when they ever need the collar again.
Lesson learned I am sure, and I know this can be a heated topic, but no good is coming from beating a dead horse. :-)

Thanks Shelley , . I have thick skin and this is not personal and common on internet forums .

Once I rode down to North Carolina to meet up of a forum. Around 150 people I have talked to for years and fought show up. They all turned out to be great people and some even came for my wedding and one was in my wedding party .Friends for life. We have taken quite a few road trips since then.

I learn so much every day .Makes me happy, someone shares knowledge.
