We shot fliers for our dogs yesterday and HOOORAY!!! She was a rock at my side. I wasn't sure if all the dinnertime drills over the winter would make any difference at all. But they appear to have. And I have to give the folks at the doggy-behavior school here in Reno (folks who do NOT do any HT or FT work) big credit for helping me set standards and keep them consistently.
It's amazing. I never thought I'd live to see the day.
She might slip (most surely will...no doubt), but at least now I know she can do it.
Sounds like she's really maturing and settling to how to really work with you and not for her!!!! Good job with the hard work!

Good work, both of you!

Excellent, all your out-side-the-HT FT-work is paying off. I bet this translates into other learning successes for you too
