14 mth old male can't hold his urine longer than 4 hours. Please help!!

My 14 month old male lab can not hold it for more than 4 hours. He still wakes in the middle of the night to go out and he'll have accidents during the day if I don't come home at lunch and let him out. Any advice would be great!! This is my first male and my previous females never had these issues. Therefore, i am at a loss.... any advice would be great!!
      Thank you!!!!

That's not right. I'd be checking in with his vet. The vet might want to start with a "first a.m." urine sample to check for a UTI or he/she may want to examine your pup initially.

agree with the above, get him checked up by the vet and test his urine/discuss all potential health causes and see if those could be the cause.

I would also think UTI. I also had a male with Lyme who had kidney issues that causes frequent peeing. I'd definitely be heading to the vet ASAP.

Couple questions. Has he always been this way? Is he crate trained?

Is he neutered? How old when he got the snip?

Yes, vet is called for as this is not normal behavior.

      More info needed...

Where does he sleep? Is he barking to go out or how is he waking up to go out? Where is he during the day? Where is he having "accidents"? Have you had him from a puppy and has he always been like this?
