Keeping ears dry during water training / suggestions for treats

I'm looking for suggestions on how I can keep my eldest labs ears dry during training in water, she has always had issues with ear infections from getting them wet and if I can't keep them dry, any suggestions on ways to dry them out?

Also can anyone suggest a treat that floats and will not break down when exposed to water?

    Thank you.

I just clean the ears afterwards (I use EpiOtic). No infections so far, it's been 4 years since the last one.

Hi - I also just clean Bailey's ears after swimming and have no issues. However, my sister-in-law bought a "bathing cap" for her golden. She has had several goldens with problematic ears and cleaning them after swimming doesn't do the trick. I am not sure where she got hers, but a quick google brought up this site - Dog Ear Protection | Dog Swimming Ear Protection

    Good luck!

Just a thought. I used to get swimmers ear pretty much everytime I went swimming, I started using a commercial product, I think it was called Swimear or something like that. The last couple years I started using a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and rubbing alcohol right after I got out of the water and I haven't had any issues.

Has anyone ever tried this with their dogs????
