Lauranj is correct. The only way to correct this is to get them to do it. Set them up for failure - like I've said in other posts...you can't always set your dog up to succeed, sometimes you need them to fail to teach them a lesson. In this case - you need the dog to jump up so you can readily correct it. You don't want to use food or any type of positive reinforcement with this kind of correction. Food and praise will just confuse the dog.
