    Moses is the same way..
In the morning I can use a regular buckle collar for walks.

When there are more distractions around I used the prong
Tried the gentle leader,,it took two weeks to get it on ,,then seemed to do the trick ( then Moses rebelled against it )
Even if you gave him treats to get it on (each day got worse) trying to get the gentle leader on.
Have a harness too (Moses hates that too)

Sometime i use a Martingales (just learned about this collar)..
But for heavy duty he like the prong I am trying to wean him off the pong

My dog is 6 and we have to go through retraining every spring. I use to use the gentle lead but it started rubbing his fur off so I don't use that anymore. The choke collar did work for a time but he is pulling more and is hurting himself. When he was younger i had a harness with a built in color and that just made him pull more.

Whatever you choose, make sure it's fitted correctly and you know how to properly use it - I've seen armpit lacerations in the hundreds from no-pull harnesses, including the easy walk.

I've used both and prefer the mesh one. I've also used gentle leader and halti head collars, choke chains, that weird Cesar Milan collar, martingals, that harness where the leash clips to the front and the back, and prong collars.

    i prefer prongs.
