Treat ball to transition food?

So, I got a treat ball, been wanting one for a while. I am going to switch foods... again because she has had soft poo since day 1, and liqui-poo now for a few days... Anyways, I figure using the treat ball may be a good way to begin, give her a few days with the new food in that, see how she does, so far shes in LOVE with it, but it may be the ball aspect of it.

Anyone else do something like this?

I am shooting for a slow transition, last time was 1 week because she was on a bland diet, now we're starting with an already unhappy tummy and I think I should stretch it to 2 weeks. I think that all I can get my BF to agree to, he think we should just stop the old when it runs out

Mods, please move this if you feel it necessary. TY
