Upstate NY some links for available dogs
Here is a link to local places that have dogs (many purebred labs!) for adoption -
http://www.bugsysanimalnetwork.com/ One main place within that link that has some labs right now is http://www.petadoption.cc/dogs_adopt.phtml I have talked with many of these places when I was looking to get our current puppy and felt they were very good places - lots of heart! Most of these places are located in Rochester and Buffalo NY.
