Welcome to you all! Yoda is lucky, it sounds like he's in the right place now. He's terribly cute. Once the worms and everything are cleared up, I bet he'll be a handful!
I'm not a Trekkie and didn't know the reference but I'd bet my husband knows who Landru is. He's not wildly trekkie-fied but he's probably seen all episodes multiple times. I found a couple of youtube clips.
