Hi, I'm a new member here and I would like to introduce myself. This is our new puppy, Yoda. He was born on Aug 28th. We got him from a family member that could not take care of him. He is a bit under weight at 12 pounds. We found out this morning that he has a bad case of round worms. He can't keep food down and was having bad diarrhea. That has stopped finally. We are giving him all the love and attention he needs to get better.
He is such a lovely dog. He is learning quickly. My wife is doing a great job of crate training him. It has been 17 years since I have had a lab puppy in the house. I forgot how much fun they are. Our other two dogs (Shih tzu and puggle) are coming around to the idea of having a little brother. It's only been a couple days, I'm not worried. Our cat is a bit more angry about the change. I can't wait until they are all playing together and having fun.
I look forward to meeting you all and sharing our new journey together.

Hello and Welcome Yoda and family!
Thank you so much for getting him back to good health and being in a loving family which he always deserved.
He's a real cutie. Keep the pictures coming, we love seeing them grow.

Welcome to the board. Yoda is a cutie-pie. Is his name from the same movie as your name? I had to google your name, actually I looked up the photo. It took a year for one but the three cats we had when puppy Oban arrived all came around. The one in my siggy is a new one, a stray, who just decided he likes us and the dog.

He's adorable! Welcome to you and Yoda!
Welcome
Welcome.
My dad gave me this nickname when I was a kid. I believe he got it from an old Star Trek episode. I could be wrong. My wife gave Yoda his name because of his ears. They are just so big for his small head right now. When he feels good enough to play, he is like a rubber ball bouncing all over the place. It's so much fun.
We are huge dog lover's. Especially labs. My old boy Hunter left us a couple years ago. He was 15. I'm glad I found this forum. I love looking at everyone's pictures.
