Hello and Welcome Aengus and family!
Not much help. Has he had a good check up by the vet recently to rule out any problems? I would suggest that first.
Hopefully others will chime in with more information.
I'm hoping someone can give me some advice here. I have a 2 year old chocolate lab, Aengus. He absolutley loves laying on hard, cool, floors. He doesn't just lay down, he plops down like a sack of bricks! He's developed a slightly bigger than a golfball sized hygroma. I've never dealt with this before and I'm at a loss at what to do for him. He won't wear the elbow pads, well because lets be honest, he's a lab and he loves to chew... he's got a cozy comfy bed he sleeps in every night but when I'm not home with him during the day, I can't stop him from plopping down on his elbows. He's in zero pain and is as happy as can be... I just want to help heal his swollen bows!! Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!!

Welcome!
We've had calluses before but never a hygroma. Since the vet isn't concerned with this one, I'd suggest elbow padding AND an e-collar for when you're home until it resolves. Out of the house? A crate with comfy bedding.
Can't offer much hygrogram help, but welcome to the forum! I'm sure some kind folk will have answer for you.
