Hello everyone!
Bobby and I are glad to be back on the board. I didn't realise how often I checked the board until it was down. Looks like we're all puppies again!
I just remembered that I never did post an introduction. Well, what can I say? Bobby and I live all the way down in Australia. As a first time dog owner, raising a Lab from puppyhood sure is both a challenging yet rewarding journey. I've got plenty of stories to tell, entertain and reminiscence over from his goofy antics and I'm sure he'll be giving me many more! He's a yellow Lab that's growing like a weed, currently 9 months old but quickly approaching 10 months. There have been moments he has made me want to bang my head against the wall but when I look back at his perpetually happy face and wagging tail, all is forgiven! Despite the embarrassment he's gained from being dubbed "Ballistic" at puppy preschool, he really is trainable and amazingly clever! I'm always stunned by how fast he catches on.
Anyway, thanks Woody for bringing the board back online.

Thanks for the welcome! It's weird to be on the receiving end for a change.
Anyways, Bobby is still a giant goofball of yellow fluff. We'll have to take a couple new shots of him soon to post and fill up the picture section again. Lately, he has decided that he would love to sleep like a battery hen and has been destroying his crate tray! It's times like these that I am glad we decided on the crate because that plastic tray could have been the wall!
Extra exercise and mental stimulation seem to be doing the trick to tame his wild side so far.
Another tale was when we were out on our walk. Mum was walking him as usual (I am the pooper scooper) and was having usual baby talk with him whilst he was in a heel. He must of been listening attentively because when she asked, "Who am I?" Bobby broke the heel to grab a can of "Mother" and drop it at her feet!
