    Hi!

Hi! I used to be on here a million years ago under a different name (but couldn't remember it! I thought it was susieq76 but it didn't work)

I have 3 labs now- Cody who is almost 10, Lumpy who is 2 and Toby who is 8 months. Good to be back!

Welcome back! The board actually crashed a number of years ago so if you disappeared on us before then, everyone had to join all over again anyway. So, maybe you were susieq76 after all! Catch us up on what's been going on with you and the pups.

Well, good, I'm not nuts (well...)

We are doing well. Lost our 14 year old, Mason, 2 years ago and went out and adopted a puppy... then she needed a playmate since Cody won't play, so we got another, lol. Now it's play time all day long!

Welcome back. I remember a "susieq" (gal who used to cut my hair was Susie and that's what her co-workers called her, so.....)

Your scenario of adopted/another puppy sure rings true to me; not with these two but with previous three Labs. Funny how the family expands unexpectedly sometimes.

Lumpy is your female? I'm afraid to ask how she got her name....but I am, anyway. (Sunnie was pregnant when we got her...definitely a lumpy dog.)

Welcome Back! And I'm so sorry to hear about your Mason...but 14 is a good long life!

Sounds like you have a full house now!

Lumpy was named by the breeder. He was originally going to keep her, but her face was not right for what he was looking for in the breed. Her real name is Twilight's Princess Heffalump.

I'd forgotten all about the Heffalump...too many decades have elapsed since I read WtheP. Great name.

Oh, cute name, Princess Heffalump! We've had a few who were named by the breeder as well, or given call names, Magpie, Jack, and Teddy. Magpie and Jack were 9 and 11 months old when we got them and why would you change a dog's name at that age if they knew their names? Teddy was just 9 weeks old when we got him but he just looked like a Teddy, so we kept that name, too.
