Love has no age limits. Amber has found her furever home and will make you young again.

Sofie is smiling as she looks down from the Bridge and she says " Well done" to you.

I feel a little guilty that she is sleeping 8 to 8 1/2 hours during the night. How is your 20 week pup doing?

She sleeps about that. 8:30/9 until 5. Always has [emoji120]

Of course being retired I’d rather she slept till 7 or 8!!

Welcome back! We too, decided to brave one more lab puppy, despite being in our 60s. We love Lido, age 9 months, but can we fast forward to age 3 years?? Lol!

We had another lab, gone at 12 y/o five years ago. So it’s been awhile, but I hope Jetty settles down at about a year like he did. Or so I remember [emoji23]

I’m too old to have 24/7 365 responsibilities for a baby!!

How are you handling the teenage months? They are so strong and I'm most worried about her strength. She's not a puller now when we walk but if she sees a neighbor that changes quickly!

The teenage stage is no fun. Things that were good before are not anymore, such as recall in the yard, and also the leave it command. I knew it would happen, but it's still a PITA. However, this stage will pass. Lido is pretty good on walks. I give a wide berth to people we have to pass though, because his greeting skills are horrible! He thinks everyone is a best buddy who wants to play. Um, no, they don't... It's a work in progress. He's getting a little better, but far from good right now. I use a Freedom No Pull Harness, which works pretty well; it was recommended by his Puppy 1 trainer. I also have a head collar I may try if the harness stops being effective. We used a head collar on our last lab, and it worked very well.

Hubby and I are thinking about getting a pup, he thinks Salem needs company. It's more like we need company, but I reminded him we are in our middle 60's
