    Hiya

    Hi All,

I have a black (english) lab, Siris, who has been with me since he was 9 weeks old. He's been a joy to be with! He's a pure bred English lab who I adopted from a breeder in Douglasville, GA during my grad school days at Georgia Tech. We've trotted all over the country before we landed here in the Bay Area (California) for the last 7 years.

He will soon be 12 years old next week. Unfortunately, this year, his IBD has become very severe, and I was hoping I can get some advice from knowledgeable people about nutrition for him. I will start a thread on that in the appropriate section.

    Thanks,

    Anish

Welcome to the board, you and Siris. My boy Oban turned 12 this past Tuesday. Oban has Lymphangiectasia, a disease that has a lot of similarities to IBD. There are a couple of IBD groups for dog owners. I'm on this facebook one, which has a raw feeding and holistic support slant to it. Good luck.
