When you call, be sure to mention about not eating as he did in the past.

So it seems like as long as I put carrots in his food he will eat it. Go figure.

We have an almost 15 yo and we're still ok but have the occasional nose turned up, we add a little chicken broth.

If carrots are doing the trick for now, awesome! Hopefully it continues for him but you could try other veggies for variety if not. Green beans, broccoli, asparagus, etc. Here's is hoping this is the long term answer for Maxx!

We still have issues with Hudler. I am finding he is more hungry in the evening. I am trying to hide a bit of kibble in the canned and that's not meeting with a lot of success.

A trick I've tried is to put the food on a human plate and put the plate down in a different spot than usual. If it works it probably won't for long but it might get a meal or so into him. Heck, put the plate on your coffee table. And only offer small bits of food, much less than usual. More often too. Our 17 year old cat has been fussy for a year but we've discovered she loves the cooked ground beef that didn't work for Oban's IBD. Ground chicken didn't help Oban either but he's doing wonderfully on cooked ground turkey. There must be enough of a difference between chicken and turkey for the latter to work. If you haven't tried it, well, anything is worth a try.

Been thinking about your pup and wanted to send more prayers.
