They say it's always good to have fresh starts; but I just couldn't give up the name LuckyLuna that I've posted under since summer of 2007.
What I do hope to do though is try to be more like many of my favorite members who share stories, ask questions and offer opinions in such an easy-going and friendly manner. I guess I'm somewhat old-school in my background and somewhat private by nature, but I'm going to try to change my ways a bit.
Luna will be seven years old this July. In spite of her grey muzzle, she acts totally like an uncontrolled puppy much of the time. I still get asked "how old is your puppy?" when we're out on walks. Part of that might be that she is only 55 lbs. and smaller than what a lot of people think labs should be.
Bentley, my 13 year old golden retriever, has really slowed down this past half year and we take it month by month with him. He has a hard time getting around, but the sight of a tennis ball still makes his tail wag and if I roll it 3 feet it makes him happy.
Talk about lab board withdrawel . . . the days just seemed to be missing something when I couldn't check in on the lab board. So thanks Woody for all your hard work in making this happen once again.
